Safe Working In Confined Space 2 (SWCS2)

The Safe Working in Confined Space 2 (SWCS2) course provides insight into the dangers that workers face when working in confined spaces and the applicable legislation in this area. The course covers safe systems of work for entry into low and medium risk confined spaces, and core skills such as air monitoring, ventilation and horizontal and vertical access/egress into confined spaces.

Confined Space Entry and Rescue 1 (CSER1)

The Confined Space Entry and Rescue 1 course builds on the foundation content of the Safe Working in Confined Space 2 (SWCS2) course. In addition, this course introduces the skills required to undertake co-worker rescues from low and medium risk confined spaces, including the use of a vertical lift of a casualty in a rescue stretcher.

Contact hours: 12 hours (2 days) or 6 hours (1 day) in addition to in-date Rescue 3 Safe Working in Confined Space 2 (SWCS2)

Prerequisites: Minimum age: 18

Confined Space Entry and Rescue 2 (CSER2)

The Confined Space Entry and Rescue 2 course builds on the Confined Space Entry and Rescue 1 (CSER1) course. In addition, this course introduces the skills required to enter and undertake co-worker rescues from a high risk confined space, wearing self-contained breathing apparatus.
